Kansas City Actors Theatre

  •  Collaborated on the budgeting, engineering, and build for the production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, KCAT's Inaugural production (SPT contract)

Light Opera Oklahoma
    Production Manager / Technical Director (2004) TD (2003)    2003-2004
  • Created company manual, emergency procedures, theatre policies, job descriptions and other management paperwork

  • Created and instituted guidelines regarding production budgets, accounts, inventory control and purchasing

  • Hired production staff for summer season (with a national base as opposed to the local base previously used)

  •  Worked extensively with the budgets and the production team to maintain high quality while reducing costs

  • Scheduled all departments, activities, and spaces for multiple productions, tours, events, workshops

  • Budgeted, engineered, and supervised the build of a large festival staging system to be used for the next decade

  • Developed and built an organization system for the properties department of a new production facility procured during my tenure, including preparing the storage units and unpacking, organizing, and inventorying entire stock of large properties department in addition to normal season duties

  • Designed scenery for multiple productions including Rumors, Death of a Salesman, Don’t Dress for Dinner

  • Seasons were comprised of 7 shows in rotating rep, as well as touring productions
